Build log
Running make check in virtuoso build dir, it seems at some point it fails to auto-enter database password (as it prompts for it). I wonder whether it's the case here. Tests restricted for this release for now. Created attachment 233563 [details]
patch that makes most of the tests work
Here's a patch that makes most of the tests work. Basically the issue is that virtuoso tries to start its server process on a privileged port, which will never work with userpriv.
Two tests still fail (out of >1000), and these look real to my untrained eye.
PS. I am not entirely sure about the correctness of the patch since it has to touch a file outside the testsuite directory. :( Created attachment 233565 [details]
Build log including tests
- Some strange behavior during its emerge: !!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=dev-libs/openssl-0.9.7i:0" have been masked. !!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request: - dev-libs/openssl-1.0.0d::gentoo (masked by: package.mask) - dev-libs/openssl-1.0.0c::gentoo (masked by: package.mask) (dependency required by "dev-db/virtuoso-server-6.1.1" [ebuild]) ..but it's not true, because I am already had emerged 0.9.8r: [I] dev-libs/openssl Available versions: (0.9.8) 0.9.8q 0.9.8r (0) [m]1.0.0c [m]1.0.0d {bindist gmp kerberos rfc3779 sse2 test zlib} Installed versions: 0.9.8r(0.9.8)(19:01:05 18.02.2011)(gmp sse2 zlib -bindist -kerberos -test) Homepage: http://www.openssl.org/ Description: full-strength general purpose cryptography library (including SSL v2/v3 and TLS v1) ..and 0.9.8r seems to be greater than desired >=dev-libs/openssl-0.9.7i ?!! ..but it wants it in the zero slot! and will newer get it there, because all 0.9.x versions are in the (0.9.8) slot, why you make it ask ">=dev-libs/openssl-0.9.7i:0" and not ">=dev-libs/openssl-0.9.7i" !!! ((; 6.1.3 all tests pass on both my amd64 and x86 machines. Closing as fixed. |
