This will be needed for Gnome 2.30 stabilization (due gvfs requeriments) I am running dev-libs/libusb-1.0.8 without problems, I would stabilize that version if possible I think libusb-1.0 is ready for stable. But, it should not yet be (with libusb-compat-0.1) the default implementation of libusb-0.1. There are a couple of bugs which means data transfers aren't quite as robust as libusb-0.1. dsd: So you're thinking libusb:0 and libusb:1 for now? Well, then plan is to simply stabilize the following: virtual/libusb-1 dev-libs/libusb-1.0.8 Please give me the ok to add the arches (or, even better, add them directly ;-)) if possible to stop preventing Gnome 2.30 stabilization :-) I am running with this setup since Gnome 2.30 was added to the tree without any problem. Thanks dsd also agrees with its stabilization :-D Arches, please compile-test and stabilize dev-libs/libusb-1.0.8 and virtual/libusb-1. target keywords: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 m68k mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 mips doesn't do stable... amd64 stable x86 stable Marked ppc/ppc64 stable. arm stable Stable on alpha.
