Build log
Aparently ruby bindings fail. This appears to be the offending output: ... checking for conf2xml() in -lconf2xml... no *** extconf.rb failed *** Could be related to the only other libconf bug out there? http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=162753 It seems as though, somehow, the old libconf2xml.so didn't have conf2xml() in it, so even though it built the library, it didn't install it before trying to build the ruby bindings. WORKAROUND: Emerging with USE=-ruby allows the install to complete, and then emerging with USE=ruby works correctly. (In reply to comment #4) > WORKAROUND: Emerging with USE=-ruby allows the install to complete, and then > emerging with USE=ruby works correctly. This works for me. Thanks! *** Bug 321573 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 328597 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I suggest we split the Ruby bindings in its own ebuilds, easier for us to maintain with ruby-ng as well. Reassigning package due to developer retirement. Package was masked for removal. *** Bug 345753 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Gone from the tree. |
