KDE4 GUI (/usr/lib/licq/licq_kde4-gui.so) does not show any text. Chat window is OK but any text in configuration dialog, status dialog etc. is not shown. I only remember that "Exit" is last item in menu and can quit.

qt-gui-4.5.3-r2, kde-base/kdelibs-4.3.3-r1, theme:default Oxygen

plugin qt4-gui works OK.

It's working fine here. Try removing ~/.licq?

Known upstream bug (see Ticket #1662 - http://licq.org/ticket/1662)
Appears when using default KDE4 style - oxygen
