Well, that might be a separate bug, but since I installed ephy-2.28, I often get into a situation where the mouse starts to drag something and never releases it and I end up having to kill epiphany to release the lock. So I think there is more than the middle click problem in mouse management in ephy/webkit. I also suffer that problem from time to time, but I think that it's a different problem, as I still see it even without auto-scroller Maybe it's similar to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=602351 have a look at http://git.gnome.org/browse/epiphany-extensions/commit/?id=c3584c630ac8ec80288f56bdb3ecc350b533d07e . Could you test this patch ? Yes, it fixes the problem :-D Thanks a lot! +*epiphany-extensions-2.28.1-r1 (02 Jan 2010) + + 02 Jan 2010; Romain Perier <mrpouet@gentoo.org> + +epiphany-extensions-2.28.1-r1.ebuild, + +files/epiphany-extensions-2.28.1-auto-scroller-broken.patch: + Fix auto-scroller broken with middle click, per bug #294712.
