I get the same error. A workaround is to use -doc for openafs. Same error using openafs-1.4.11 and e2fsprogs-libs 1.41.3-r1. Interestingly, the openafs-1.4.11 ebuild contains the lines: # compile_et collides with com_err. Remove it from this package. rm "${D}"/usr/bin/compile_et ...so why is the manpage being installed at all? Created attachment 203275 [details, diff]
patch to remove the conflicting compile_et manpage
Since the compile_et binary is already removed, this shouldn't cause any problems, and I successfully emerged openafs-1.4.11 on my box after I made this change.
The same error with 'net-fs/openafs-1.4.11' and 'sys-libs/e2fsprogs-libs-1.41.9'. Using -doc (comment #1) worked. openafs-1.4.12.1 has renamed things upstream |
