![]() do you have shared-mime-info and/or xdg-utils installed ? I was able to reproduce this on a fresh stage3 install, switching straight away to the 10.1 developer profile then compiling syslog-ng which pulls in dev-libs/glib-2.20.5-r1 I did not have xdg-utils or dependencies installed nor did it attempt to pull them in. The only dependency syslog-ng had was glib. Attempting to emerge xdg-utils attempts to pull in glib as well, which of course fails again the same way.
