Proposed ebuild for binary plugin for epkowa scanner driver (Perfection V300)

Description W. Trevor King 2009-06-18 16:42:34 UTC
The epkowa driver provided by media-gfx/iscan needs proprietary plugins for several EPSON scanner models. This particular plugin (f720) seems to be required for
  Epson GT-F720
  Epson GT-S620
  Epson Perfection V30
  Epson Perfection V300 Photo
acording to AVASYS
  http://avasys.jp/hp/menu000001300/hpg000001249.htm
and SANE
  http://www.sane-project.org/cgi-bin/driver.pl?manu=epson&model=&bus=any&v=&p=

The ebuild works for me with the iscan-2.19.2.ebuild from bug 248898

Nice ebuild - I used it to make my Epson V300 Perfection work (somehow I could not get it working by only copying files from the Debian package, I guess the postinstall script you run is important).

Depends on a iscan version bump though.

Added amd64 support. Cleaned up linguas support. Added support to unregister the plugin when removed.

Added to Portage after a bit of cleanup (you should run repoman to check for QA stuff). Thanks!
