This happens for every licence displayed and waiting for user interaction when using portage in parallel mode, whether with --jobs or --load-average. Portage needs a possibility to accept the licences beforehand or via an environment variable. Well, this would be a handy workaround. The real 'bug' however is Broadcom demanding each user to read the licence before using, as stated on their site at http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php If you find that this keeps you from working effectively with their products, I thinks it's a good idea to let them know, e.g. by http://www.broadcom.com/contact/feedback.php Cheers, Nico (In reply to comment #1) > This happens for every licence displayed and waiting for user interaction when > using portage in parallel mode, whether with --jobs or --load-average. > Portage needs a possibility to accept the licences beforehand or via an > environment variable. You can find out that there actually is such possibility by examining the eutils eclass. Just add ACCEPT_LICENSE="Broadcom" to your /etc/make.conf.
