Please, please check that: - the current user (the user that should start virtualbox) is in the vboxusers group: id your_username - check if currently all the needed binaries are installed on your system, please provide the output of the following command: qlist virtualbox-ose | grep bin i'm using the same version here and i have no issue with it (In reply to comment #2) [..] sorry, just noted the qlist attached to this bug, so ignore my previous comment, can you please provide the USE flags used to emerge app-emulation/virtualbox-ose? thanks $ groups <my_user> adm wheel floppy audio cdrom video usb portage plugdev games dropbox vboxusers koukos $ emerge -pv app-emulation/virtualbox-ose These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! Noted in the ebuild already, so closing for now |
