I think this is good idea to add this version to the portage ASAP
At least it will resolve bug #235914 (and #235904 as well)

Finally managed to make ebuild(s) myself.
Took 5.8.8's, modified some patches and corrected other to be applicable to new version.
Works OK on my PC (x86)
Throws some warnings during documentation build process, but I think it's normal (according to comments in previous versions of ebuilds :)

Needed somebody's testing
- on 64 bit - didn't changed lib64 (lib32 as well) patch, hope the ones from 5.8.8 still be OK
- on hardened - removed perl-regexp-nossp.patch,so bug #97452 may arise again

Putting ebuilds/patches here.
Hope to see them in portage soon :)

But we will move on to perl-5.10.1.

Maybe you can help testing perl-5.10.1 too.
