I was thinking something like:
"when going through this guide, you might run into installed packages that block the installation of tex live. Usually it is safe to unmerge these packages. If in doubt, ask. e.g. by filing a bug report or by contacting the gentoo tetex upgrade mailing list"
with maybe a "code" section showing how to unmerge a package to be complete
*** Bug 463756 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** latex-unicode should be treecleaner, current version is 11 years old and we've had a lot of texlive updates since then :) removed |
