Thanks, the man page is fixed in svn r12003 to indicate that the variable is unset by default. Initially we had it enabled by default, but not anymore because it's not supported by some kernels, and some kernels support it with any user while other kernels require root privileges. This is fixed in 2.2_rc15. |
