This would allow me to query what versions of mozilla-firefox are available in ::mozilla without me having ::mozilla configured. This has been implemented in Paludis already and works quite well, see http://ciaranm.wordpress.com/2008/06/12/dealing-with-lots-of-repositories/ for more details.
