Build log
an IRC friend of mine was unable to compile xorg-server 1.5.1 because of the same original bug (thus posting to this bug instead of opening another). His workaround was to explicitely add mmx and sse to his USE flags for pixman additionally to sse2 and recompile pixman Could you too try this workaround please? I'm pretty sure both bugs are strongly related. I had sse and sse2 in my use flags, but not mmx (guess I just forgot...). That did the trick! Thanks! I disagree with marking this bug as FIXED. It's RESOLVED, but imho should be fixed at the ebuild or upstream. Either it should abort compilation (bad), warn the user (better) or inherit mmx if needed (dunno). I hope the assigned team will evaluate this report. Same problem here. Please actually resolve/fix it. |
