You shouldn't need 915resolution with newer versions of the xf86-video-intel driver. Thanks yes, but what about console framebuffer? I can confirm that the patch works correctly on Intel 945GME. 915resolution, while not needed for Xorg, is still necessary in order to use the native LCD resolution in the framebuffer. Could we please get that patch into the tree? with KMS, this should no longer be necessary, right? anyway - added to the tree. |
