At Rémi Cardona's request I ran revdep-rebuild as well as reconcilio. revdep-rebuild indicates dynamic linking is consistent. That's actually surprising as it should find totem. Here is what reconcilio says: * media-video/totem-2.23.4::installed /usr/bin/totem (requires libgssapi_krb5.so.2 libk5crypto.so.3 libkrb5.so.3) /usr/bin/totem-audio-preview (requires libgssapi_krb5.so.2 libk5crypto.so.3 libkrb5.so.3) /usr/bin/totem-video-indexer (requires libgssapi_krb5.so.2 libk5crypto.so.3 libkrb5.so.3) /usr/bin/totem-video-thumbnailer (requires libgssapi_krb5.so.2 libk5crypto.so.3 libkrb5.so.3) /usr/lib64/nautilus/extensions-2.0/libtotem-properties-page.so (requires libgssapi_krb5.so.2 libk5crypto.so.3 libkrb5.so.3) could you grep through /usr/lib/ for .la files and see if there's one having kr5 in it. There's probably some references in deps of totem which should be there. hum another suggestion, maybe reconcilio is getting the rebuild order wrong ? (In reply to comment #2) > could you grep through /usr/lib/ for .la files and see if there's one having > kr5 in it. Thanks for the quick follow up :) hell no, it's not fixed, how did the krb5 got in there ? automagic ? we need to find out. My guess : krb5 got pulled in by a low-level library and it survived in a .la file. Nothing that we can fix (unless we want to fix libtool...) Feel free to investigate some more, but I'll gladly bet candy that it's the aforementioned issue. :) hum ok, looks like it would be pulled from eds if you don't have --as-needed, no automagic involved. *** Bug 244358 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Reemerging totem-pl-parser solved the problem with totem 2.22.2-r1 for me. *** Bug 245946 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 246413 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 247506 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 248208 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 249424 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 268729 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
