That upstream patch just completely removes gtkmozembed support. I don't see how that will be acceptable. That said, I'm pretty sure this will be split out into its own package anyway as part of ford_prefect's gnome-python* split-up work. ford_prefect has a split up gtkmozembed, and I have a patch for it to make it build with xulrunner 1.9. Be patient, grasshopper. (In reply to comment #2) > ford_prefect has a split up gtkmozembed, and I have a patch for it to make it > build with xulrunner 1.9. Be patient, grasshopper. > Are you mean to allow gtkmozembed-python build with xulrunner 1.9? If so, can you correct my http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=247098 ? I tryed to do the same. The split up (including gtkmozembed-python against xulrunner 1.9) is in the tree. We won't be making anything optional, post split-up; deps will be fixed as time progresses. Please file specific bugs for things that depend on gnome-python-extras that need lesser deps, thanks. |
