enca-1.9.ebuild.patch
Works with attatched patch.
a) use external recode, and add it to DEPEND
b) add RDEPEND too
c) add doc useflag
You maybe need to recompile app-text/recode with gcc-4.3 if you didn't do an emerge -e world after gcc upgrade
*recode-3.6_p15 (25 Sep 2008) 25 Sep 2008; Peter Alfredsen <loki_val@gentoo.org> +recode-3.6_p15.ebuild: Fix bug #226083. The fix for bug #209036 actually required a revbump because the header file is installed and may thus affect the compilation of other programs. This provides that and imports newest patches from Debian. I bumped this as well since the changes are a little more than just fixing a compilation issue. Thanks for the patch Thomas. *** Bug 260855 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I hit the bug because I ran "emerge -uN world" and app-i18n/enca-1.9-r1 does not require the fixed version app-text/recode-3.6_p15. Currently I see in the ebuild: DEPEND="app-text/recode" Otherwise I cannot explain myself why did I hit the several months old bug of app-text/recode. Somebody please REOPEN and FIX the REQUIRE line in enca-1.9-r1.ebuild. |
