Rebuilding cups 1.3.7-r1 (as part of system rebuild) after updating glibc
from 2.7-r2 to 2.8_p20080602, I get the following error:

This seems to be the same issue as bug 225369 for openldap.

Maybe it could be a good idea to mark cups-1.3.7-r2 as stable :)

Uh well glibc-2.8 isn't marked as stable either so if you manually mix stable and unstable packages you should be prepared to run into such issues.

Well, is somebody tracking what needs to be stabilized as soon as glibc2.8 is stabilized? This change does not affect prior versions of glibc, so where is the problem?
