Description Mark Tiefenbruck 2008-05-26 01:49:18 UTC
Upgrading shadow to 4.1.2 tries to install a new version of /etc/login.defs . When running etc-update, I checked the contents of the file, and it uncommented a lot of lines that said something along the lines of "(not valid with PAM)". I assumed this was no longer the case, so I allowed the update. Now on every login, I get the following list of warnings:

configuration error - unknown item 'FAILLOG_ENAB' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'LASTLOG_ENAB' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'MAIL_CHECK_ENAB' (notify administrator)
