I'm using an all SATA configuration, with the SATA controller set into AHCI mode. The install CD cannot boot : grub doesn't load the menu. The grub shell is given, and I'm up to guess how to boot the system.

I have yet to see any linux livecd able to boot from an AHCI cdrom yet. Reverting to "IDE emulation" works fine though. I'm not sure if the problem is grub related or not.
