Description Ben de Groot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-04-17 13:09:59 UTC
FFmpeg recently changed all the include paths. Every application using it
should update. Make sure the applications build against currently hardmasked media-video/ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20080326.

sound herd left to do:

media-sound/gnusound
media-sound/mt-daapd
media-sound/picard
media-sound/potamus
media-sound/soundkonverter
Comment 1 Ben de Groot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-13 13:32:39 UTC
Not done:
media-sound/gnusound - needs testing - drac?
media-sound/picard - needs patch - coldwind?
(0.10.0_rc1 in berkano overlay works only with new ffmpeg)
media-sound/potamus - needs patch - drac?

Done:
media-sound/mt-daapd - current version doesn't depend on ffmpeg
media-sound/soundkonverter updated to 0.3.8, works
Comment 2 Ben de Groot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-13 21:07:32 UTC
picard is done, so only potamus and gnusound remain
Comment 3 juantxorena@gmail.com 2008-07-17 09:19:24 UTC
It seems that gnusound has resurrected with 0.7.5 after 3 years. Maybe it works with the last ffmpeg, but I haven't tried it.
