probably this report on itcl mailing list is rerlated (same compiler error) (at now, still unresolved) http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=E1IGsEv-0008OA-77%40sc8-sf-web23.sourceforge.net&forum_name=incrtcl-develop as some Tcl developers suggested me, we hardly will see a Itcl release in the near future (look here and think: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=13244) development only happens in the CVS tree. but happens that many programs depend on itcl (in the specific case, on program that I need), and I (so, others) am not intended to downgrade Tcl to 8.4 my fix is a Live CVS ebuild of Itcl (which would be version 3.4) you can make a snapshot (today it compiled fine! :P) if you feel to Created attachment 144132 [details]

fixed in upstream cvs. probably we need to backport the patch, as we aren't going to see a new itcl release soon. fixed in CVS. yay! :-) for the record: I added version 3.3.1 (never released) from upstream CVS. it's hosted on Gentoo mirrors, should appear in half an hour or so. |
