Q: I am a rabid wesnoth fan.  Can I file a version bump request the same hour the pre-announce mail goes out to wesnoth developers and packagers?

A: No.

Q: I l0ves the wesnoth beta versions so MUCH!!!  Can I file a bug for those
versions to be put into portage?

A: No.

Attached live ebuilds for 1.10, 1.12 and master branches for the people impatient for new versions. Please, consider for inclusion in the main tree.

Note:
- Wesnoth repository takes around 2GB of disk space.
- The preferences are set to different location from stable release.
- These ebuilds have the same feature set as in-tree version.
- Search http://gpo.zugaina.org/ for overlays with beta and live ebuilds.

live ebuilds are a pain to maintain

it's easy to do that in an overlay. I accept pull requests for live ebuilds in my overlay, but I don't compile them every day.
