emul-linux-x86-soundlibs-20071114 in the tree p.masked. use at your own risk. (In reply to comment #1) > emul-linux-x86-soundlibs-20071114 in the tree p.masked. use at your own risk. > I'm using emul-linux-x86-soundlibs-20071125 and still get this error: % firefox No running windows found Warning: Couldn't extract MOZ_USER_DIR from /opt/firefox/firefox-bin ALSA lib pcm.c:2105:(snd_pcm_open_conf) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib32/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so Is there a strong reason to don't put it in the latests version of soundlibs? I _have_ to use pulseaudio because of my soundcards configuration. Please include it!! Alsa-plugins are still missing in emul-linux-x86-soundlibs-20080316. I use pulseaudio as soundserver and I've no sound in all 32 bits apps. I had to emerge alsa-plugins in a 32 bit chroot and to copy these libs, and I yhink it is in the emul package to support that. Yes, I reopen this bug because libpulse and the pulse alsa plugin is not delivered in the latest emul package. Notice that ubuntu hardy heron delivers it. $ qlist app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-soundlibs-20080418 | grep pulse || echo NOT FOUND NOT FOUND *** Bug 218682 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Same problem here. I'd very much appreciate the inclusion of the alsa pulseaudio plugins, though the native pulseaudio libs in 32bits would be a nice addition, too. (JACK's are in there, too..) Thanks. It would probably be good to add libflashsupport (with pulseaudio support) to this package too. we are currently testing a soundlibs with pulseaudio support enabled. Expect to see it in the tree soon. Sounds good. It will incluse 32bit libflashsupport.so ? (In reply to comment #9) > Sounds good. It will incluse 32bit libflashsupport.so ? yes Any news about that ? Maybe you can put it on some overlay to make it possible to test it for more ppl if it's not finished. (In reply to comment #11) > Any news about that ? Maybe you can put it on some overlay to make it possible > to test it for more ppl if it's not finished. I second that, I could also help you test it if that made things done faster. I also need 32 bit Alsa-Libs. Specifically, libasound_module_pcm_a52.so (In reply to comment #13) > I also need 32 bit Alsa-Libs.
