Description Thomas R. (TRauMa) 2003-04-14 13:53:55 UTC
After upgrading from OOo1.0.2 with

emerge -C openoffice
emerge -B openoffice
emerge -k openoffice

my user account had some "can't find file" errors on running OOo. After deleting
.openoffice/ and the .sversionrc I got "Running OOo setup\n setup failed"

After looking around a bit I found the rm -f /etc/openoffice/autoresponse.conf
in the ebuild and did exactly that manually, with a emerge -k afterwards, et
voil

voilá, it worked.

Seems like I have the english help files though, as in described at the end of
bug #19253

Comment 5 Thomas R. (TRauMa) 2003-04-17 22:41:59 UTC
:) Just for the record, there was no ._confwhatever, at least none etc-update found.
Comment 6 Seth Chandler 2003-04-18 01:24:22 UTC
yeah i'm not familiar with the -b and -k stuff though, i don't really know how exactly it work
(i know what it does, just not if it goes through everything the same way)
Comment 7 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-12 02:21:45 UTC
It works for me, and I don't think other people had this problem. Also I looked through the ebuild and everything should work, so I don't really know what can be done about it. So I'll close the bug.
