Anything on your system RDEPENDs on this? Do you have this in /var/lib/portage/world? (In reply to comment #1) > Anything on your system RDEPENDs on this? Do you have this in > /var/lib/portage/world? > gentoo32 ~ # cat /var/lib/portage/world | grep sdl media-libs/sdl-image media-libs/sdl-net media-libs/libsdl media-libs/sdl-ttf media-libs/sdl-gfx media-libs/sdl-mixer Shows as not being in the WORLD file. gentoo32 ~ # equery d sdl-sound [ Searching for packages depending on sdl-sound... ] app-emulation/e-uae-0.8.28-r3 (!alsa & sdl-sound? media-libs/sdl-sound) Shows that something depends on the package. Thanks for looking into this, long time since I have felt I needed to report on bugzilla! (+3 years) (In reply to comment #2) > app-emulation/e-uae-0.8.28-r3 (!alsa & sdl-sound? media-libs/sdl-sound) !alsa? ( sdl-sound? ( media-libs/sdl-sound ) ) but you have USE=alsa enabled, see your emerge --info. So, it doesn't depend on media-libs/sdl-sound. In fact, if you run emerge --depclean, it will be unmerged most likely. Came up on the: emerge --depclean --pretend list so will emerge --unmerge and go from there. Closing as this is not really a bug. |
