Ignore the distcc errors, one of my compile helpers was down when I ran this.
which version of linux-headers have you got? sys-kernel/linux-headers == v2.4.19 you've got a rather old glibc, the threads stuff is from glibc. did you just recently upgrade to 1.4 profile or have you just resisted the change to glibc-2.3.1 ? Running: emerge rsync emerge glibc emerge sudo Compiles succesfully. The box was running an old version of Gentoo when it was decommissioned last October. It was ressurected and in the process of being updated, so it was running like Gentoo 1.2 or something. thanks for that. its interesting that sudo doesn't compile on glibc-2.2.x, but i think all the profiles should be moved to 2.3.x now. |
