Log of failure -- k3b "debug info" and log of the console where k3b ran.
why is media-tv CC on this? Maybe you meant media-optical. According to the release notes, this bug is fixed in version 1.0.3. Please test if this is still an issue in 1.0.3. See Comment #3 and report back, please. *** Bug 189179 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Reopen wrt Bug 189179. I've contacted upstream about this. k3b-1.0.4 has been released. Is this problem still present in the new version? (In reply to comment #8) > k3b-1.0.4 has been released. Is this problem still present in the new version? > This happens in k3b-1.0.4 as well. Actually in k3b-1.0.3 it worked for me just fine and in 1.0.4 I ran into this problem. (In reply to comment #9) > (In reply to comment #8) > > k3b-1.0.4 has been released. Actually in k3b-1.0.3 it worked for me just > fine and in 1.0.4 I ran into this problem. > This bug is still there, however, I just turned off eject before verify and it works great. As I recall the 'eject before verify' option was put back because not ejecting seemed to have a prob. I've contacted upstream directly about this but didn't get a response. Please file an upstream bug for this and add its URL here. I have the same problem with k3b-1.0.4. There is a patch posted on KDE bugzilla, which is reported to solve this problem: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151816#c8 *** Bug 218413 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** See also: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155152 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151816 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156684 I've fixed this in 1.0.4-r1 which I've just committed to CVS. From ebuild Changelog: 13 Jun 2008; Carsten Lohrke <carlo@gentoo.org> +files/k3b-1.0.5-desktop-entry.diff, +k3b-1.0.5-r1.ebuild: Fix .desktop entry stuff properly, get rid of the seemingly improper patch for bug #186173, see also bug #221177. However, it seems like the patch for bug #186173 was not so improper at all. Without it, verification does not work on my computer, though everything's fine on another computer (k3b-1.0.5-r2). If I apply the patch everything works as expected. Maybe the patch could be applied by the ebuild again? |
