Old like hell, try w/ 1.2.17 please. Plus why do you need this anyway? >=ipw3945-1.2.0 doesn't need this, and rt2x00-2.0.0_beta3 is abandoned and broken. This should be removed. Well, the ieee80211-1.2.17 could be compiled, but I had to run those two other scripts, which delete the ieee80211 stuff from the kernel source. The ipw3945-1.2.0 doesn't even accept the ebuild modules. It request that ieee80211 be compiled into the kernel. To compile the kernel with it after having emerged the ieee80211 ebuild you have to reemerge the sources. For every requested ieee80211 crypt module you also need to have the option: CONFIG_NET_RADIO=y After this you can emerge ipw3945 without problems. Thanks. I hope it's ok to publish this here. Erm, guess that was a bit stupid. Not yet. *** Bug 194108 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** According to bug 271587 it's is still broken. Could someone have a look at it?
