If you start a xchat an connect to a server it asks to get into a channel. There's a checkbox at the bottom with the german translation: 

"Diesen Dialog nach jeder Verbingund anzeigen."

But correct is:

"Diesen Dialog nach jeder Verbingung anzeigen."

On that note, correct one is Verbindung, not Verbingung.
