I found an existing ticket for this at mythtv.org. Ticket # 3327 http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/3327 Would it be possible to have the ebuild include the patch from the ticket? CCing a MythTV upstream developer Looks like we need to switch to the new mythweather revamp branch. Here's some details. http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Using_mythweather-revamp_with_trunk_mythtv At the bottom of the page it links to a sandbox page with some very nice screenshots of it's features. Any chance of an ebuild for this ??? from statements by upstream, its not ready for use or ready to be built against 0.20. So for now, it looks like no. so for 0.20.2 upstream is disabling mythweather and marking it as broken. <gbee> not in a fit state for a backport, suppose in a couple or weeks, maybe less it might be usable enough that packagers could backport it themselves - not sure Chutt would want it backported it to -fixes though <gbee> assuming you are talking about mythweather and not some other fix that I was supposed to be backporting <Cardoe> yes, mythweather <Chutt> that's too big for a backport So there you have it, MythWeather will not be fixed or working in 0.20.x, as such it's been masked. |
