Description Allen Brooker (AllenJB) 2007-04-01 12:43:48 UTC
Something pointed out on IRC, http://www.gentoo.org/doc/da/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=8 still mentions /etc/conf.d/domainname instead of /etc/conf.d/net for dealing with domain names.

Then I would suggest that this notice needs to be larger or highlighted in some way and in danish because it's obvious that people are still following this outdated document without realising that it's outdated. I'd perhaps even go so far as to suggest it should be removed altogether or placed in a clearly unofficial / archive area.

+1; this is so outdated that it documents totally unsupported stuff like stage 1/2 installs etc. We shouldn't provide such horribly outdated outdated docs as official, it's very confusing.

We never remove old translations.
It is clearly stated that they are outdated.
Besides, they are not linked to from our indexes.

Feel free to send us updates.

Uhm, a tiny 'last updated' notice somewhere is not exactly 'clearly stated as outdated'.

Poke me next week, I'll take a quick Danish course. :P
