Bug 171986 – broken link /usr/share/info/bashref.info.gz after updating bash right after chroot stage3

After I unpacked the stage3-amd64-2006.1 tarball, chrooted in my new gentoo system and updated system 'install-info' starts complaining

install-info: No such file or directory for /usr/share/info/bashref.info.gz

because this file is actually a symlink pointing to

/usr/share/info/bashref.info.gz -> bash.info.gz

But there is no such file 'bash.info.gz' because the info-pages of bash are compressed with bzip2.

The symlink is in the stage3-tarball and does not get removed when updating bash as I would expect. 

Simply removing the symlink helps.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Untar stage3-amd64-2006.1.tar.bz
2. chroot
3. emerge -u system

Actual Results:  
broken symlink /usr/share/info/bashref.info.gz => bash.info.gz

Expected Results:  
no broken symlink /usr/share/info/bashref.info.gz => bash.info.gz
