Description
Petteri Räty (RETIRED)
![]() I downloaded the source from upstream and got it to compile successfully with JDK 1.6 and ant 1.6.5. The only thing that doesn't build is the Quick Reference document. I also ran all of the demos -- I'm not sure how to tell if any of them croaked but most of them created PDFs. As betelgeuse said in the dupe: Let's use ecj-3.2 with this version so that we can remove ecj-3.1 some day. *** Bug 163970 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** From a mail I got: "When will the new version (1.3.0) be available in portage? I normally would not bother you but my company is making a product conversion and I am desperatly trying to have gentoo as the platform and i need to know about this component." A work in progress for 1.2.7 can be found at: https://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/java/migrated-java-experimental-overlay/app-text/jasperreports That should be a decent base to bump up to 1.3.0 Bumped to 1.3.0 in overlay, but still needs a lot of work, so I've left it without any keywords. It's using bundled dependencies right now, in particular: http://mondrian.pentaho.org/ (looks big) http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/sandbox/javaflow (no real releases yet) http://catcode.com/pngencoder/ (looks like single file, but not versioned...) The new "home" for java-experimental is http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/ Jasper Reports can be found at http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/java-experimental.git;a=tree;f=app-text/jasperreports can't find the package in the tree nor in the overlays. Closing. |
