I downloaded the source from upstream and got it to compile successfully with JDK 1.6 and ant 1.6.5. The only thing that doesn't build is the Quick Reference document. I also ran all of the demos -- I'm not sure how to tell if any of them croaked but most of them created PDFs.
As betelgeuse said in the dupe: Let's use ecj-3.2 with this version so that we can remove ecj-3.1 some day.

Bumped to 1.3.0 in overlay, but still needs a lot of work, so I've left it without any keywords. It's using bundled dependencies right now, in particular: http://mondrian.pentaho.org/ (looks big) http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/sandbox/javaflow (no real releases yet) http://catcode.com/pngencoder/ (looks like single file, but not versioned...)
