Get this fixed upstream, please. ?? This is an additional peace of software (a fork), a kicker applet that can be used INSTEAD of the normal (also kicker applet) pager. How can that be handled by upstream? A merger of the two is unlikely... see http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=46021 I don't see any reason why kicker couldn't be fixed to work correctly w/ beryl; really don't need a special fork for this. *** Bug 191705 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Why merging anyway? Upstream should just use the fork instead. I don't see any disadvantages. |
