Description Leonid Kabanov 2003-02-11 20:41:06 UTC
On most distros config files for net-snmp packages places in /etc/snmp . Thats
right location according to FHS. But in gentoo it placed in /usr/share/snmp. I
think it should be moved.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Fixed in the new 5.0.9-r1 version. Please give that a try.
Comment 2 Axxackall 2003-11-05 06:41:56 UTC
emerge net-analyzer/net-snmp/net-snmp-5.0.9-r2.ebuild

ls /etc/snmp: empty

snmpconf

ls /etc/snmp: empty

Where is the fix?
Comment 3 Leonid Kabanov 2003-11-05 18:20:34 UTC
snmpconf always create config files in current working directory unless you
specify `-i' option so you need manualy copy them into /etc/snmp
