*** Bug 144295 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Your console fonts/encoding is misconfigured for your locale, fix it. Bugzilla is for bugs, if you need help, please use forums.gentoo.org or #gentoo on Freenode. Thanks. Sorry but can you please tell me how to configure properly my locale for my console fonts/encoding? All I know is that I boot off gentoo live-cd, I chroot and set my locales to utf-8 My only locales are C POSIX en_US.UTF-8 and it_IT.UTF-8 Now is this affecting how console works while in the middle of gentoo install? If so, how to temporarely adapt my console encoding to what I have? thank you, Spiro Bugzilla is not a support forum. Please, don't use it as such. Thanks. sorry for just asking perhaps a 1 line answer. Nevermind.... I will post the same question on forums. I was under the impression this was a bug. Sincerely, Spiro |
