the default src_unpack() should work now as `unpack` handles .zip files ... src_unpack() in the ebuild does *not* unpack the .zip file, it just extracts a single Readme.txt file from it. The .zip file is renamed to be a .pk3 file, which Quake 2 engines can read. then make sure you add '-qo' to the cmdline would be nice too if an echo was added: echo ">>> Unpacking Readme.txt from ${PAKFILE} to ${PWD}" Created attachment 92251 [details]

Now unpacks the graphics files, so quake2-icculus can potentially use them in the future, with the addition of better hi-res graphics handling.
Please look at http://www-personal.umich.edu/~jimw/q2/. It looks like a good set of textures. Maybe we can merge these two sets? Created attachment 101339 [details]

Added "jimw" USE flag, to include those "exotic" textures :)
Thanks a lot. It was fast :) Hmm what about these textures http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137529 ? It looks like we have a lot of them? Can we merge also that set? > It looks like we have a lot of them?
It's the *same* ebuild. This ebuild now merges two sources of high-quality textures :)

Using Sergey's ebuild, I get this: !!! File animated_computer_08_09_06.zip doesn't exist, can't update Manifest Anyone have this file and some spare web space? :) Looks like the files were updated (thanks Paul for noticing). Also check out f.g.o. about this: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-698751.html This ebuild still has the same issue and fails with the same message as posted above. Let me know if you have the zips and I'll tell you how to send them to me. I'll host them on my server. |
