Please, one ebuild = one bugs next time. Thanks. ;) Same problem here: Portage 2.0.54-r2 (default-linux/x86/2006.0, gcc-3.4.5, glibc-2.3.6-r3, 2.6.16-suspend2-r4 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.16-suspend2-r4 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.66GHz Gentoo Base System version 1.12.0_pre19 distcc 2.18.3 i686-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.4.2 dev-python/pycrypto: [Not Present] dev-util/ccache: [Not Present] dev-util/confcache: [Not Present] sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.17 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r7 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r1 sys-devel/binutils: 2.16.1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.22 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.11-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -momit-leaf-frame-pointer" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /usr/share/cursors/xorg-x11/default/index.theme /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/eselect/compiler /etc/gconf /etc/splash /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -momit-leaf-frame-pointer -fvisibility-inlines-hidden" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig candy distcc distlocks sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://www.die.unipd.it/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo-sources/ http://gentoo.ngi.it http://mirrors.sec.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de/gentoo/" LANG="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_ALL="it_IT.UTF-8" LINGUAS="it" MAKEOPTS="-j5" PKGDIR="/mnt/packages/panther" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.europe.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="x86 X acl acpi alsa apache2 audiofile avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts bzip2 cairo cdb cdr cli crypt cups curl dbus dlloader dri dts dvd dvdr eds emboss encode exif expat fam ffmpeg firefox foomaticdb fortran gdbm gif glitz glut gnome gnutls gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 hal idn imlib isdnlog java jpeg junit lcms libg++ libwww logrotate mad mhash mikmod mmx mng mp3 mpeg ncurses nls nptl ogg opengl pam pcre pdflib perl php png pppd python quicktime readline reflection sdl session spell spl sse sse2 ssl svg svga symlink tcpd tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts udev unicode usb vorbis xine xml xml2 xorg xv xvid zlib video_cards_nvidia linguas_it userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, INSTALL_MASK, LDFLAGS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_OPTS Created attachment 86620 [details]

people who have this bug: is the time on your machine correct? (In reply to comment #5) > people who have this bug: > > is the time on your machine correct? > I have syncronized it with the ntp server time.ien.it, I also tried to compile gnome-media with distcc disabled and the problem still remain. (In reply to comment #5) > people who have this bug: > > is the time on your machine correct? > I synchronized and tried again, same results. The infinite loop problem might be caused by a dependecy problem. I tried installing a few of the ebuilds ACCEPT_KEYWORDS '~x86' emerge -p gnome implies to be built after gnome-media by name: Problem and resolusion: ACCEPT_KEYWORDS '~x86' emerge gnome -> make-loop in gnome-media (build of gnome-media keyboard-interrupted) ACCEPT_KEYWORDS='~x86' emerge pango zenity libsoup gnome-themes \ gnome-keyring libxklavier intltool (continue with rest of ebuilds in gnome) ACCEPT_KEYWORDS '~x86' emerge gnome This resolved at least the infinite-loop problem in gnome-media. .Anders Same problem with gnome-media-2.14.0-r1 on hppa, upgrading dev-util/intltool to 0.34.2 did the trick for me. Fixed here (on x86) too by upgrading to intltool-0.34.2 The upgrade fixed for me too on ppc. This has been fixed in portage. Thanks for the bug report. |
