will this work with older versions ? in other words, can i just replace it and not worry about breaking the current stable ? runit-1.3.0 also has the 'sv' command so it should work. I tested it but it unfortunately didn't. Created attachment 84412 [details]

what about this version ? should work for 1.3.x and 1.4.x
Well, this one looks to be universal but I'd prefer keeping two versions and modify ebuilds to use 1.3/1.4 one. BTW, I don't have 1.3 anymore but I can't see a reason why the former 1.4 version shouldn't work. The sv tool should be the same. Frank, can you please elaborate? your original in portage |
