No, why should we force iptables on every user of genkernel? Save your default config somewhere and set DEFAULT_KERNEL_CONFIG accordingly in /etc/genkernel.conf. uhm - security ? It's not like they have much of a choice - either they have iptables - or not - in the past they used to have iptables or ipchains - small time, but still, they choice was there. Even a --with-iptables in the genkernel line would be nice.
