You did not include the actual error. It is higher up in the output. Gnome-vfs doesn't build here either, also on an amd64 system. My error is (followed by the output you posted): x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I.. -I.. -I../imported/neon -pthread -DORBIT2=1 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/libxml2 -I/usr/include/gconf/2 -I/usr/include/orbit-2.0 -pthread -DORBIT2=1 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/gconf/2 -I/usr/include/orbit-2.0 -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_BSD_SOURCE -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -D_POSIX_PTHREAD_SEMANTICS -D_REENTRANT -DSSH_PROGRAM=\"/usr/bin/ssh\" -DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED -DDATADIR=\"/usr/share\" -DPREFIX=\"/usr\" -DLIBDIR=\"/usr/lib\" -DSYSCONFDIR=\"/etc\" -DG_LOG_DOMAIN=\"gnome-vfs-modules\" -O2 -fweb -ftracer -fforce-addr -march=opteron -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -c smb-method.c -MT smb-method.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/smb-method.TPlo -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/smb-method.o smb-method.c: In function `do_close': smb-method.c:1428: error: structure has no member named `close' make[2]: *** [smb-method.lo] Error 1 make[2]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... This appears to be caused by samba 3.0.20, which renamed that field close_fn for some reason. If you downgrade to samba 3.0.14, it will build fine, as a workaround until we can fix this. For reference, this is gnome bug 315136 (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315136) This is fixed now in CVS. Thanks for reporting. Thanks E. Papegaaij, and Daniel Gryniewicz, you guy's know what your doing! *** Bug 104717 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
