This is actually for a WISH and was told to submit a report for this. My wish is I hope that as well as myself but that many others would like to see Gentoo get a Ncurses installer, much like either FreeBSD, Slackware, or Debian where you are walked through the steps to install instead of having to read from DOCS and type commands. A ncurses installer done this way will help speed up and simplify the installation. Thank you all for your consideration on this, and I hope the people responsible for making this happen will read this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. All Installs 2. 3. Actual Results: Installation done by CLI through reading DOCS instead of a installer. Expected Results: Ncurses installer for simplicity and ease of install. I hope the Gentoo team sees that this is a smart choice to make.
Maybe you should check this out: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/releng/installer/
I'd say that this is *in-progress* and it would probably help to make sure there isn't already a project in the works to do your request before making one next time... =]
