Description Gioele Barabucci 2005-07-21 06:53:36 UTC
I am compiling wxGTK with unicode support but the ./configure log shows that
unicode support is not enabled.

Should wxWidgets be compiled in Unicode mode? no

PS: I have added --enable-optimise --disable-precomp-headers to the ebuild
configure flags.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

x11-libs/wxGTK-2.6.1 [2.6.0-r1] -debug -doc -gnome +gtk2 -joystick -odbc
+opengl +sdl +unicode -wxgtk1

If you let the emerge finish you should also have a unicode version.

Do you have a unicode file in here? /usr/lib/wx/config/
Like:
gtk2-ansi-release-2.6
gtk2-unicode-release-2.6

The reason it also compiles an ansi version is because many packages aren't
coded properly and fail with unicode.

Closing and marking invalid. It compiles two versions of the lib.
