Could you try cups-1.1.17_pre20021025?
Comment 4 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-31 00:58:53 UTC
seems like it's the same error
Comment 5 Grant Goodyear (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-11-01 13:32:57 UTC
Unexpectedly gone for at least a week.
Comment 6 Donny Davies (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-11-13 12:28:13 UTC
is this still a problem or what...

we released cups-1.1.17_pre to try to squish the recent
cups problems. but i havent seen anybody else report this
particular problem.

what about trying to remerge ghostscript then cups again?
Comment 7 Grant Goodyear (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-11-13 14:41:29 UTC
I can't reproduce this bug. Can you try "emerge -e cups", and see if that
fixes the problem?
Comment 8 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-11-13 14:59:03 UTC
no sorry forgot this bug

gcc was corrupted

reemerged gcc, now 1.1.6 works fine
