Description Rene Zbinden 2005-07-19 01:11:13 UTC
I installed net-analyzer/prewikka-0.9.0_rc5 and when I launch
/usr/bin/prewikka-httpd
I get the following error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/prewikka-httpd", line 34, in ?
from prewikka import Core, Request, siteconfig
  File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/prewikka/Core.py", line 31, in ?
    import prelude, preludedb
ImportError: No module named prelude

Is there a missing dependency?
Comment 1 cyril constantin 2005-07-19 01:48:11 UTC
yes it seems dev-libs/libprelude and dev-libs/libpreludedb (at least 0.9.0_rc5)
with python in USE are needed.
Comment 2 Rene Zbinden 2005-07-19 02:03:43 UTC
why is the package in the stable tree when its dependencys are not?
prewikka should go to ~x86.
Comment 3 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-19 03:08:13 UTC
I didn't list dev-libs/libprelude and dev-libs/libpreludedb as dependencies
because they can be installed on a different server (according to my reading
of the installation instructions).

I guess this wasn't the case.

hopefully all fixed now.
