Attempt to install the main xmms plugin packages, and it'll take forever, since it has to extract and reconfigure the main xmms package time and time again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: If the ebuilds are going to be seperate, make them only run whats needed. MAybe even package them seperatly in distfiles. The plugins probably shouldn't have been seperated as they were. It'd be less time consuming, and more convinient if it were a single package again.
well, sorry you feel that way. They're not getting reintegrated. If you want to fix the build system so it's better suited for this, be my guest.
So you just love making packages as annoying as possible then? I can just immagine how much MORE annoying the split KDE builds are :o I think, if it really is a good idea, then you should beable to convince the xmms team to repackage them for you.
